The RAT-Indoor platform is a product suitable for indoor measurements and creation of coveradge maps. It is a very customer oriented presentation tool for Sales departments, Customer care and Professional end-users creating RAT-UE graphical views and statistical data of indoor measurements (i.e. office space, airports, industrial plants, etc.).

When using RAT-Indoor as presentation of measured data before and after a Repeater, Picko-cell or Femto-cell installation gives a terrific graphical presentation showing users the benefit of their investment in a solution of indoor coverage. 

The RAT-Indoor client runs on a Windows based PC and via a user interface it graphically displays the saved and processed drive test data from a RAT-UE devise. The client accesses a local database that also supports statistical reports of drivetest data.

For a satisfying indoor coverage a great number of radio network parameters are influencing to reach a satisfying indoor coverage without great expenses. RAT-Indoor is a unique tool for verifying in-building coverage and repeater system design. RAT-Indoor, supported by RAT-UE, analyzing KPI and identifies coverage, quality and throughput speeds.

RAT-Indoor creates detailed coverage and quality maps based of drive-test data out of RAT-UE's. RAT-Indoor present data in a graphical interface where the user can easily display measured coverage or quality in any given area with specific attributes (2G, 3G, quality, coverage, throughput, etc). The presented data is shown in a easy to use client where the measured data is presented and easily be plotted in a picture of the specific customers floor-layout in there office space. Of course the indoor-coverage map is easily exported to popular image formats such as JPG, BMP, GIF, etc.

This new way of presenting indoor-coverage maps gives a clear picture of the logical network seen from the customer experience and based on measured data instead of guessing, measure individual foot prints or even presenting predicted data.
