RAT-Server (Database server and File Archive)

RAT-server is a centralized DB-server that is required for access to a central file storage for access and storage of drivetest files in the RAT platform, access and storage of processed drive test data and the DB also contains advanced statistical/reporting recourses. The database makes use of the Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 architecture/database* to store all processed network performance engineering information. As apart of the RAT-Server a package of Integrated, professional quality reports and integrated Microsoft SQL server reporting Services (SSIS) and OLAP support is included. Size of the Server is depending on number and size of stored files.

As a centralized automation and data management solution RAT giving an automated post processing and powerful reporting tool that allow the RF-engineers to act on gathered data more efficiently.

The RATDatabaseServeris the backboneof all the RAT applications

• All measurementand metadata, siteand celldefinitionsare stored in the database tables optimizedfor RAT functionality
• The RAT database server is genericbetween the different RAT products. The same measurementdatais therefore sharedbetween the different clients presenting information for the varyingindividualneedsof organization
• Stored procedures (pre-compiledtransaction queries) are prepared for each of the RAT applications and executed from the clients in order to move the processingloadfrom the clients to the database server
• Statistics and reports are generated by the database server before delivered to the requesting client application. In addition MSReportingServicesprovide an extensive reportinginterfacethat, depending on specific needs, may be individuallycustomized
• Execution of automaticimportsare performed by the database server. Site and cell definitions or drive test data files are imported by scheduledjobs
• A lightversionof the database server is optionallyused as a local sandboxwhich requires no remote connection from the RAT applications

Price is dependig of configuration and creation of reports. A standard installation starts at 16,900 Euro, excluding 3:d Party license (MS SQL Server) and HW.

* RAT-dB server require MS SQL Server 2005/2008 (2008 for extended reporting support) Standard or Enterprise versions. Enterprise version only needed in large installations and SSIS support.
